HELP ,what is the switch called ?

OK guys, I am trying to search will no luck, for a small type 12 volt switch

that has a spring on one end and when the spring is pulled the switch will

make contact. I will keep searching maybe I am typing the wrong words in.

( just for another project :-)

That would be a Normally Open, Single Pole, Single Throw, Spring Return.

 

NO SPST SPR RTN (not positive about spring return abbreviation )

This type of switch arrangement is very common.

If it were used on 1st gen it would be NO SPST SPR RTN.

 

2nd gen uses a brake relay, then a NC SPST SPR RTN. (Normally Closed, Single Pole, Single Throw, Spring Return.)

 

But a Venture with cruise needs 2nd set of contacts for cruise cancel.
