We get a nice Sunday afternoon maybe we can meet up and ride up to chimney rock.
Pegasus1300 Posted January 29, 2014 Share #7 Posted January 29, 2014 That's correct, I should have mentioned that. Rick Butler is where I got mine. I also had a set on my RSTD. They were great. Made it so easy to remove the bags and clean back there and also to check the rear brake pads as they tend to wear funny and quick. I also bought mine from Rick Butler, they were just as the ones you saw on ebay.
stickhandle2 Posted January 29, 2014 Share #8 Posted January 29, 2014 I have them on my RSV, as mentioned they are great for removing the bags quickly to do ant maintenance and of course for keeping the white walls pretty.
JDaniel Posted January 29, 2014 Share #9 Posted January 29, 2014 I have them on my 99 RSV. They work great. I bought them from a member in the Danville, KY area.
Eck Posted January 29, 2014 Share #10 Posted January 29, 2014 You can make them yourself for a whole lot cheaper... Radio shack has the black plastic knobs.. about $1.59 each Ace Hardware, Lowes, Home Depot has the metric bolts ...about $1.50 each A tube of epoxy (part A & B) and you can glue the bolts into the plastic caps. You might have $15.00 in them when done.
