First off, a BIG Thank You to bongobobny for the parts I needed!!

Next - dumb question time. How do you get the switch out of the clutch lever mount??? Mine is broken off, with a piece still in the mount. I wondered why the cruise wasn't working! I must be having a Senior Moment Attack, I can't get the @$&^*# piece out!!

What holds the switch in place??

Thanks, all! The broken off piece was turned in the mount just enough that I couldn't see the tab that needs to be pushed in to release it. A little prying and some pulling and it came out. Now, I hope this is a part I can still get from the dealer, that won't break the bank!!

Yah, that tab had me going for a little while too when I rebuilt my clutch master cylander last summer.

You are very welcome for the parts. I have accumulated quite a few crash bars over the last couple of years from ebay trying to find a "perfect" pair. Most of them were in worse condition than what was on my bike. If you haven't found saddlebags yet, I have a pair with a key that need repainting from my '85 parts bike. Sorry, the trunk is going on my '84...
