Is the stock 2007 Venture seat leather or vinyl?

The stock seat is vinyl. They offered an optional touring seat that was made by Corbin and it was leather.

What is the best treatment for a vinyl seat. All of my older bikes have splits and cracks in the vinyl, and I have used cleaners,ect. on them. I never have had any issues with the leather seats I've had.

I use ArmorAll. Keeps it really shiny black and protects it from the sun.

Will do. But it won't be till late July that I actually order the seat.

I have a Day Long seat and love it! My wife is not as happy with it because she likes the softness of the stock seat. It is a one piece design for rider and passenger but very easy to change out.

I use marine wax or leather cleaner. Armorall is too oily
