saddlebum Posted March 17, 2013 Share #1 Posted March 17, 2013 I need to replace the clutch on my 1st gen MKII. I plan on replacing both driven and drive disks and upgrading to the Barnett spring plate. So my question is this what part numbers should I be getting and which venders should I check out for pricing etc.
Mike G in SC Posted March 17, 2013 Share #2 Posted March 17, 2013 Ben, I got my 2 gen (Barnette plate, Yamaha disks) from my Yamaha dealer. He price matched my best internet price. Don't know if yours will do same but nice doing business if he will. My old parts were okay but it did resolve my "can't find neutral" problem,,, and more spring. XV1100SE Posted March 17, 2013 Share #3 Posted March 17, 2013 You can get OEM Yamaha parts that would be a huge upgrade to the stock parts you have. The parts you need can be had in one package http://www.yamaha-motor.ca/products/products.php?model=4202&class=1&group=M|&LANG=en
