AmnChode Posted February 1, 2008 Share #1 Posted February 1, 2008 Well, I has finally about to order the crome clamps from Iron City Cycles to put a set of RKs on and when I went to the page, it has a network solutions page up (which usually means the site has gone *poof*)... I thought all I needed was the bracket.. The clamps attaches the muffler to the exhaust pipe, the bracket attaches the muffler to the frame of the bike and uses the existing muffler mounting hole. But if I have my way, I would rather keep the stocks muffs exactly that...stock. When I saw these clamps, they looked clean and would allow me to not modify the stock muffs. Just go over to the Harley shop and buy a pair of RK clamps. That is what I did on my 05 RSTD, when I put the RK mufflers on. Steve Will they provide the same clean look? It was my understanding that they wouldn't, which is why I was going after the V-Twins...Did you do any other mods to them, other than the mounts themselves? I ask because I should be able to get the stock clamps for them, as well.
