Checked with a Yamaha dealer and they said I'd have to buy a new antenna at $179.00. The connector is plastic and appears to connect the antenna top/bottom by threads. There is a local cb shop that I'm going to check out and see if they have something that will work. It's ridiculous to have to buy an antenna when all I need is that plastic connector. ps (4 month owner of a RSV and can't imagine riding anything else now. A great ride and style).
