Passing Lamps question

Who Dey

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks, sorry if this is the wrong section to post this is but i am wanting to put some passing lamps (i believe that's what they are called) on my bike and was wondering how much they cost, where can i get them etc? I also want those little visors on the lights like the bike shown below. I have also seen a LED light strip that people are putting on the trunk of their bikes that i would like to get. Can i run both of these items and my GPS without draining my battery? Sorry if that's a stupid question but i just want to make sure. Thanks in advance for your help guys.

P.S. Also to who ever owns this bike, i hope your not offended by me using your picture.

You will find the part numbers here for the lights:

http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/accessories/acscitemdetail/5/4/83/408/all/1/241/0/detail.aspx

and here for the visors:

Once you get the part numbers, you can enter them in Google to find the best deals. Also check Ebay, you can often find them new on Ebay at decent savings.

I have spent countless hours and simply put these are the cheapest I have found. Aftermarket stuff dont impress me. This place has the best OEM pricing I have found. If they are cheaper somewhere else I hope someone points it out.

They have the visors and anything else you may want, all cheaper then anywhere else I have found. For you ? about draining to much running them with your gps I have not read of that being an issue yet on here.

Hi,

Just bought and installed driving lights on my 08 Royal Star Venture as well as the light visors. I bought everything off ebay from the following sellers.

They were brand new OEM parts.

Everyone here were really good at giving me some great advice on how to wire the lights. I used a relay like everyone recommended as well as the Kuryakyn Master Cylinder switch.

They look great on the bike and work really nice.
