Either you pick up a shop manual and dig in yourself or check out some of the local independent shops in the area. Im sure the guys here can help you out as you progress through your rebuild. SC89Venture Posted February 25, 2011 Share #7 Posted February 25, 2011 You can do this. I got my 89 a year ago. I have worked on smaller bikes, my 89 was my first BIG bike. Since I have had it, I have changed the tires front and rear, inspected brake pads, replaced fuse panel, in process of changing the spark plugs, and giving it an oil and filter change this weekend. Hell, it took me a month to get the side panels off. See if you can find a manual, and join this GREAT forum.
