Nope, we kept it to a minimum. While waiting for the fire trucks, I opened all the windows, and with the wind blowing like it was, it blew the majority of it away from the house. Most of the smoke stayed up in the ceiling. We have washed all of their clothes and bedclothes, and they came out ok. Also, as I was putting it out with the hose, I took care to keep the water damage to a minimum. Alot of damage during fires, is actually caused by careless firefighters, and their wanting to dump tons of water on the fire. Most firefighters know what they're doing, but some get carried away. It doesn't take much water to douse a fire, if applied properly.
