Guest Flash Posted September 15, 2006 Share #1 Posted September 15, 2006 Just said good by to my faithful friend today. Digger my greyhound whom I rescued just over 8 yrs ago when his racing career came to an end. Life is a bit sad at the moment. Went for a blast over the hills to clear the head. Wolfie Posted September 15, 2006 Share #2 Posted September 15, 2006 So sorry to hear. Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. They are just like our own children. You did good adopting a retirered racing dog, most people want puppies. You gave Digger a good life and you will always embrace and remember that. Cherish his memory. Squidley Posted September 15, 2006 Share #6 Posted September 15, 2006 Flash, Always hard to loose a pet, dad had a Beagle named Freeway for 17 years. When he finally had to put her down it was the saddest day I can remember. I have only seen my dad cry 3 times...and that was one of them. God Bless you Bro, maybe a few tankfuls are in order....be safe.
