My wifes 01 Nissan Altima's window washer thing is plugged. Someone told me a long time ago that you can't use a bread twisty to clean them anymore, nor a welding tip cleaner, because it will ruin them. So, how does one clean them? Or do I just have to replace it. The one on the passenger side works fine, so I know the pump, etc is okay. craigr Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Squidley Posted December 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 17, 2009 Craig, Disconnect the fluid lines from the sprayers on the wipers and then at the motor (be mindful that fluid might leak out from the spot at the motor) Take some compressed air and blow through the lines (dial it down if you can at the adjustment valve so not to shove 120 lbs of air all at once) Whatever is in there should shoot out and you can reconnect the lines. If you shove anything down in there you might further impact the stuff and it get worse Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
