Shot Posted August 17, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 17, 2009 I am looking for a reasonably priced set of headlights (I call them running lights) for my bike; I had them on my previous bike and it did make a difference in people seeing me. I have a 2004 Yamaha Venture R/S. Thanks everyone.
KiteSquid Posted August 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 17, 2009 Some questions before I answer.... What shape of beam pattern are you looking for? Where do you want to install them? What is your budget?
Shot Posted August 17, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted August 17, 2009 I paid around $225.00 for my 1100; that was the whole kit, wiring, switch and all. The lights I am referring to are located on each side of the headlight and are maybe 4 inches across and round; the purpose is more visibility. The ones I have seen on other bikes have a bracket that fits onto the crossbar. Hope this answers your questions.

I have a light bar bracket (no lights or mount for the lower wind deflectors) if you are interested. BTW some lights are halogen, some are bulbs, make sure you get the ones you want.
