Shipper Posted August 4, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 4, 2009 When I stop gently the front brakes or fork make these noises especially when starting out. The service manager says it's normal(surprise). Is it? Also will the front fork hold air for more than a day? Thanks!
Eck Posted August 4, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 4, 2009 When I stop gently the front brakes or fork make these noises especially when starting out. The service manager says it's normal(surprise). Is it? Not sure what kind of noises you are actually referring to, but the front brakes on the RSV always makes a noise upon stopping and it sounds like a grinding type noise in a way, and that is normal. Also will the front fork hold air for more than a day? Yes..........they should hold it for a long time. I ran around 3 to 5 lbs in the front forks.
