Squidley Posted July 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 25, 2009 Any advice on changing pads on my 2003 venture...just doing the fronts today at the firehouse? 2 12mm bolts holding them on, remove caliper, slide the inner and outer pads off, slide new ones on, recompress the calipers pistons, install caliper back on, tighten the 2 12mm bolts, have a cup of coffee....your done 810 531 5128 if you have any trouble....but you wont. 04Midnight Posted July 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 25, 2009 Maybe you should change you brake fluid while you're at it.
RedRider Posted July 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 25, 2009 Check the back pads while you are at it. Again, easy to change if needed. You don't even need to remove the caliper. If you see the rears showing uneven wear, you can swap them in to out, out to in. RR
