GG54172 Posted March 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 1, 2009 Just curious, I wonder what the bike would look like without them. If no one has pictures I Suppose I could just yank them off and see for myself.
boominup Posted March 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 1, 2009 YEEESH! That's awfull ugly in there with the fairing off. Way too much "Stuff" to transplant somewhere else on the bike. Don't think it would work. It's fairly easy to take the front of the lowers off. I can only recommend that you see for yourself. Brian
MAINEAC Posted March 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 1, 2009 Just look at an early Royal Star and visualize a front fairing... As Greg stated theres alot of crap in those lowers and you'd have to add custom air filters... You got a horn, fuse box, and the Cruise Control and who knows whatelse under them... I thought about changing the air filter and triming the lowers so they aren't so swoopy and maybe adding 6x 9 speakers.. http://www.speedcitycycle.com/images/customcruisers/1996RoyalStar1_lg.jpg http://www.speedcitycycle.com/images/customcruisers/1996RoyalStar2_lg.jpg
OutKast Posted March 1, 2009 Share #4 Posted March 1, 2009 You talking about the actual lower fairings in front or your shins, or just the clear pieces hanging off the bottom of the headlight fairing?
