Installation Billet air cleaner cover?

I already have the K&N air filter so I hope the one I have works.Any suggestions on installing the Billet air cleaner cover?

Its just a basic install,do one at a time as you can use the other for a reference if you get confused..other than that enjoy,they are nice.

They really do look sharp. I plan on getting them next year, I think I already blew my whole accessory budget for this year. And having the bike painted over the winter, is going to cost me more $$$ I am also on the fence about which type to get, the smooth, or ball milled. Lots of nice pieces to be had that is for sure. The only thing I would be prepared for with your install, is the rubber gasket that seals the K&N filter to the airbox. Did you get new ones? They were permanently attached when you installed the K&N's, if you have to remove them, be careful. I think they are required for the filters to be effective. Just a thought.

Been 3 years but seems like I put the filters on and replaced the plastic with the chrome

Not yet,the weather was so nice in NC this weekend I ended up riding to the mountains.
