Clutch has always been grabby and rough, I've had 8 of these bikes and this first one rough like this. Gets worse the hotter it is, so, can replace with Yamaha parts or Barnett spring conversion kit and plates. Barnett less money and seem recommended but I have no knowledge of them. Please jump in!

That's exactly what this cord does. Adapts bike output to Bluetooth transmitter. The Sena SM10 dual stream bluetooth transmitter is fine (dual channel to broadcast to two separate helmets) it is the cord that is poor. I have used their systems for 5 -6 years. Have original SMH10 set (two helmets), new SMH10S set (two helmets) 2 SM10 Dual Stream Bluetooth transmitters, All OK, BUT the wire, first one lasted 5 years, second lasted 3 days (that's why I have a second SM10, thought a new wire had to be working, fooled me, bought a third wire lasted less than a week. If you do a search on Facebook or online Sena customer service sucks. You can call, they will answer in Philippians, promise to get back to you - never happen - not ever - period. That's why I went looking for a better answer. For the guy that wants to make his own, easy, I did not have the ends and $2.70 pretty cheap. The good news, the 5 year old set still works just fine, lots of miles, dust, rain. I have to complete sets for other bike and family.

Good Day, The 5 pin male din end plugs into the front radio outlet (the one your plug in headset attaches to) the 3.5mm end plugs into a dual stream bluetooth dongle that then broadcasts to both helmets via "Blue Tooth". The factory cord is expensive and the wires are very thin, the break internally with minimal use, they also about $28.00 each. This cord is $2.70, way better quality. I have the helmet kits, that way my phone rings in helmet, radio, tape player and MP3 via AUX input in radio all come into helmets. Also I like that there is no cords.

If you are using Sena SM10 the cable (SC-A0122) from bike to SM10 is, well, basically crap. I have purchased three this year, 2 have failed and last one is 2 days old. They cost me $28.00 CAD each. You can order " kenable 5 Pin Din Plug To 3.5mm Jack Stereo Plug Audio Cable 0.5m (~1.5 feet) 50cm" from Amazon for $2.70 USD. You have to shave down the plastic on 3.5mm end a bit. Far better construction, far,far better price and sounds ?? maybe better.

Was in a very long, 100F traffic jam. Air cooled were pulling over and shutting off, they were cooking to death. Think I will stick to water cooled.

Took in to have 40,000 Kilometer valve's checked.

Does anyone on here know if I can mail, just ordinary package from Canada to USA and it arrive at destination. If yes I have a Hagen shock (I think it is great) with very little usage (maybe 6 or 8 thousand miles) I will give you, you send me money for postage. Got old, triked bike, all the parts that came off I be more than happy to donate to anyone, but sending to US is a problem.

I had my 2007 RSV triked (yeah I know, I really had no choice) and because I always thought the gearing was too tall I ordered a higher numerically final drive. It is a Hannigan and the stock differential ratio is 2.73:1 and I thought I was ordering 3.08:1. Now I am informed that it is 3.73:1, which I do not think it is. So I endeavored to do the reverse math and would like for someone to verify my figures. Tires 205/65R-16. Google says 785 revolutions per mile. I measured circumference and I get 761 per mile so used higher number. 785 x 3.73 x 0.786 (5th gear ratio) x 1.776 (primary reduction) = 4087 RPM at 60 MPH Am I missing anything???? I purchased a cheapo (wire wrapped around spark plug wire) tachometer. It does not agree, nor does my ear. Hannigan does use the 3.08:1 on Honda,s and if I use that number the tachometer and my ear agree. 785 x 3.08 x 0.786 x 1.776 = 3375 RPM at 60 MPH. I think they used the 3.08 by error but bike runs just fine and with the extra weight, kit adds 320 lbs. to total, more power, less speed is just fine. Am I doing the math correctly???? Oh, last but not least, I have all the stuff from conversion including a Hagen shock. Everything has about 25000 kilometers except shock and it maybe 5000 kilometers. You can have it all, free, but you have to come and get!

I think both suggestions 1. Get carbs sync and 2. Get Vmax gearing are both great. Bike only has under 7000 miles, but is 6 years old. Get carbs checked before I pull off the lowering kit. I do have short legs!!! Thanks

Well, the vibration was not nearly as strong the day before, therefore I start undoing what I just did. Lowering kit comes off, then will see!

2007 RS Venture 11,700K Down under bike last week to check rear tire pressure. Oil on shock, read info on site, realized I'm hooped. I ordered a Hagon shock and because I would have it apart anyway and wanted to lower a bit, also ordered a Barons lowering kit. Installed both yesterday. My bike has always seemed to have too tall a gear ratio, get engine lugging at speeds under 55MPH in O/D and the associated vibration. Feels as you can feel each cylinder fire. Same in each gear depending on engine RPM and load. At 75 MPH, smooth as can be, but good for ticket!!!!! Since changing shock and lowering kit the vibration is much more noticable. Got my wife to come for a ride, did not mention vibration, and asked her if shock felt better. She immediatly said there is a strong vibration whenever engine under load. Just enough throttle to climb hills at highway speeds. Any ideas. Does lowering change geometry enough, or does non air type shock maybe transmit vibrations more.

Within a short time, the old timers had extinguished the fire and saved the secret recipes. The grateful sausage company president joyfully announced that for such a superhuman accomplishment he was raising the reward to $200,000, and walked over to personally thank each of the brave elderly Italian firefighters. A TV news crew rushed in after capturing the event on film. The 'on camera' reporter asked the Italian fire chief, 'What are you going to do with all that money?' 'Wella,' said Chief Pasquale De Luccinelli, the 70-year-old fire chief, 'de fursta tinga we gonna do isza fixa de brakes onna dat fockinna firetruck!!'

I should have explained. To ride your bike on Feb.15 in my climate is rare. W|e have had extremely warm winter. Hope it keeps up.

First chance to ride new (to me) bike yesterday. Been over 20 years since last rode a Venture. Had a great day, spent 3 hours just tooling around. I had a 83,85,87,89 Venture Royale's but kids grew up, wife decided she was a professional, bike sat in garage, so sold. Bought this bike in December, 6800K on it (about 4200 miles). Summers coming!!!!

The bike shop I frequent sells and/or installs this stuff: http://www.ride-on.com/motorcycle-formula-mot.html The claim is it balances the rim and tire and automaticaly seals any punctures. They claim great results. Anybody use? I understand the sealing, how does it balance? $50 for both tires installed, not bad if prevents just one flat.

Just waiting for the fellow to call me back. He's away at rehab. He is real sick, I'm quite excited, have a couple of bikes now. Had 4 Venture Royale's in the eighties, loved them, but work and wife and kids, etc. Bought a Kawasaki Vulcan 900 last spring, like it, but really like touring bike. This one stored indoors, covered. Pretty much new! The cord is on the tank and there is a push button and knob on left rear arm rest. He really has no idea and I think to sick to GAS. I do appreciate you guys jumping in so soon!!!!!!!!!

I need a little info ASAP. As above, has 6500KM (4038 miles) in as new condition. The owner has no idea if it has CB or Intercom. Owner never rode two up and never had a head set. Serious health problems reason for selling. I don't care about CB, but do want intercom. Was intercom standard equipment in 2007? I want to purchase this evening. Don't come along like this very often. Robby
