Wouldn't say it is constant lot of folks not having problems with them my first set no issues in fact I will probably put my old front back on until this is resolved. Really shouldn't have changed it out as it still had plenty of tread left but I had already bought the set when I realized how much was remaining. Glad I still have it now.

It is on both sides of the front tire the rear is not showing any signs of cracking. I went to Jake Wilson, M/C superstore, and the place mentioned on Brake Pads rear tire thread and I didn't find a set in either E3 or Avon. Could find maybe one or the other but not a matched set. When these were worn out I had been toying with the idea of a set of E3's white walls. If Jake Wilson hasn't responded tomorrow to my e-mail there getting another phone call.

Well it has happened to me now with the Avon's my front tire has started showing signs of cracking. Looks like dry rot to me but thats not possible tire has a date code of 1811 purchased on 8/4/12. Like you said unless your 7' tall you will never see it. I have used these after removing Fire Dept radios without any sealant and had no issues. But a little silicone wouldn't hurt. After a week you will forget all about it until you get in the bed to wash it out.

When it comes on sitting in traffic this summer if it ever gets here you will KNOW IT.

Thanks Walter but we have a benefit ride for our Fire Dept. that weekend so I can't make it. I would rather have me some fried Crappie and frog legs but I don't think the guys would forgive me since it was my idea to have the ride.

Shorter links will raise the bike Longer than stock should lower but I haven't heard of anyone doing this unless using a Barons kit. Your not running a smaller front tire are you ?

Just remember you ride a 2nd gen and you can't come off the line so fast.

Just don't over fill it I think manual states 3.5 qts w/filter I would add 3qts fire it up and run for a bit and check it. To much and it comes out the little rubber hose hanging by the swingarm. You don't want anyone thinking it's a HD.

thanks guys cut the speaker wires off and it works just like I wanted it to. Afraid I cut them to short for the ear buds though but great idea. Thanks Vincent

I wear a Half helment and the speakers with the headset I have don't fit well inside the curtain and hurt my ears after awhile. I have only the one headset so no need for intercom but I would like to use the cb through the bikes speakers and just cut off the headset speakers and use the Mic will this work. The headset was free and no longer made by J&M it is one of there Honda models. I know it will work through the bike speakers this way just not sure if I cut the speaker wires on the headset if the mic would still work.

Did you get some nylon wing nuts to attach the seat doesn't matter that there standard thread they will make new ones when you install them and you will never need a wrench to remove the seat.

I could have ship my pants today but the seat was to far up my arse.

So was I correct mike or totally out of the park ?

The other one is under the seat not very useable because of the type of plug. Should be on the left side beside battery small white two prong plug.
