2007 Royal Star Venture Hannigan trike
  1. I have had my 2006 Venture trike only a year and both my wife and I enjoy it so much. I looked at getting my 2000 venture triked but could not justify $15,000 on that old a machine. After almost 40 years on 2 wheels, 3 is different but lots of fun. I may not keep up with 2 wheels on a straight but once we get to the corners they are just in my way. I just added an extra tank to the trike this weekend so just waiting for some nice weather (freezing rain right now) to start riding. I am planning to go to the Hannigan 40 year event in June. I do not think you will go wrong with getting your 2006 converted to a trike. Happy riding.
  2. I have had my Baggershield for 3 years now and really like that I can adjust from low to high. I recommend this as it is great low and then for full ( wife protection) I just raise/flip the top piece. Paul
  3. This is the price list right off the Hannigan site. I have had mine about 2 months and am glade I have it plus am going on longer trips. I have a Hannigan on a 2007 Venture. http://www.hannigantrikes.com/products/yamaha-royal-star-venture-tour-deluxe-conversion/ Paul
  4. Hello Dave. This looks like a Voyager kit. http://www.mtcvoyager.com/ I have a RSV with Hannigan kit but have never driven a Voyager kit. There is lots of info about these types of kits on this site or "Trike talk". Some good and some no good. The big issue sounds to be was it installed properly, ie) the first time and are all the welds OK. I looked at this type before getting my trike. Only had it mine about a month but have put on over 5000 KM so far and am glad I did. This type is removable if you want. You can not change the triple tree to help the steering if you want to remove the two support wheels at some time. Best of luck it you go for it.
