  1. Sorry. I'm drunk. And my Mommy says I have to go to bed, NOW! TaTa.
  2. Oh. Why didn't you say so? MC-95-250 Reverse Trike http://www.supersportz.com/images/spz%20sportz%20059.jpg
  3. A CanAm Spyder RS. Vintage unknown. Like I said I am sooo confused.
  4. BTW: It (my pictured bike) was a 1963. Still confused...what am I supposed to be guessing....
  5. I'm sooo confused, what bike am I supposed to be identifying? Huh! Go out for dinner and come back to the Aussie and Canuck playing Wack-A-Mole. Can't keep up!
  6. A link to an inexpensive source for valve shims for our bikes. Current pricing is $3.88 per shim with a flat rate shipping charge of $9.99 for orders under $99.00. Free shipping on orders over $99.00. It's an industrial supply house, so you might find some other things you could use there as well. Compare to Yamaha MSRP of $15.49 each. The Venture uses 25mm diameter shims. http://www.industrialpartshouse.com/category/Home:Automotive:Import_Auto_Specialty:Valve_Shims
  7. So, you are saying that despite winning the last round, you are relinquishing the "new bike guess offering"? In that case, Prairiehammer has picked up the dropped baton and is racing to post a new bike, before that crazy Hell Yea finds something made in Outer Mongolia.
  8. Tooch, find a photo of a bike that you want us to guess and PM me the URL where the photo can be found. I'll download and edit your selected pic and post it on here for you. 'Course, I'll have all the answers to your test, but shoot!, what are friends for?
  9. Yeah, removing the identifying badges is key, of course, to stymieing the prospective guessers. To do it: Download the desired photo to your computer ( I use the desktop; it makes it easier to find the pic.) After downloading the pic, copy the pic into MS Paint (or another photo editor of your choice). Use the editing tools to obscure the identifying markings on the bike. Save the edited picture as a JPG to your computer desktop. Attach the edited picture to your VRO post (click the paperclip icon) and when the attachment window opens, click Browse and find your edited picture. Upload that pic.
  10. Watch this Japanese motorcycle skills competition in the rain!
  11. Perhaps, I should clarify (Canuckitize) about posting the original pic in your answer post. Find the picture on the web that the original poster used when he posted. Finding the original web picture adds significantly to the time consumed while searching for the correct answer. For instance, I knew within a couple seconds what a certain bike was, but it took me many minutes, sometimes hours, to find the exact same pic posted by the OP. But, as I said, that original pic can be copied and pasted directly on to your answering post in a much larger format, as opposed to the little attached thumbnail.
  12. Well, that is very generous of you, Dave. A bit tardy, but still generous. I already "gave" it to him... Now, Mike, we are awaiting with bated breath for your gem.
  13. No, not bad at all. Just to improve the gaming experience for all, include the original pic in your answer. When you find the OP, copy the image and paste to your answering post. That original pic when copied and pasted is usually of a larger size, making for a richer and higher resolution photo for all to see. The VRO forum limits our "attached images" to a measly 640 pixel width.
  14. Correct. 2008 CB1300P http://www.chara-net.com/images-item-big/ref2-29611.jpg
  15. Continuing on the Emergency Services vein:
  16. 1926 Henderson Deluxe Fire Department Motorcycle. Auctioned on Friday, November 4, 2011. Offered Without Reserve. Sold for $ 63,250 http://www.auctionsamerica.com/images/lots/LH11/LH11_r301_01.jpg
  17. Exactly! I figured there would a couple guesses as it being an Ariel Square Four, but apparently I can't fool the Constable. Good show.
  18. Wonder how long it takes to change the track? Don't think it would be something I would want to do while under fire. And how do you turn it?
  19. So, does that mean I can submit a bike for you guys to guess? Thank you. I hope I can make you all proud. Here goes:
  20. 250cc Rotax engined Can-Am military model built for the British Army. Depending on your viewpoint it is either a 1974 model, 1978 model or 1980 model. The reasoning there is all the military machines were made in 1978 but issued in two batches – 1978 and 80 – but based on the 1974 enduro bike. http://www.canned-ham.com/index.php/project-can-am/
  21. Yeah, I have it pegged as a CanAm...just can't find the photo with the details. DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS. That's what separates men from boys or Yanks from Canucks.
  22. Hey, Tooch... Do ya think you can find a smaller pic?
  23. In 1951, Honda produced their first four-stroke motorcycle, the Type E http://www.livablelandscape.org/CYCLES/HJDreamE.jpg
  24. YaY, the Tooch has unequivocally SCORED! http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-l7_QRaA0Hk0/TvpUbduQCvI/AAAAAAAAB6M/mW9-PAWsw2U/s1600/100+Dream+Type+D+Back-1.jpg
  25. Yeah, keep that in mind for your own bikes and cars. Pictures of bikes/cars "that Dad/Grandpa had" are always entertaining.
