I will pay more attention to the forum I post to in future.

I have access to a paint booth and would like to paint and touch up the various scratches that appear in spite being diligent and protecting said motor bike. I have an '87 Venture Royale with the gold and tan colours. Questioning various paint/auto part stores bring the "glazed over eye" look as if I had stepped off flying saucer. Can anyone provide me with codes for the various paint suppliers out there? tanx

Went to handy dandy d/ldd Venture manual from this site and found that arrows point to exhaust. The scanning of the manual resulted in poor pic quality and I am looking for a cd version that has exploded views and diagrams. Any suggestions?

Removed the cam covers and saw the arrow direction inside only after I cleaned them. Which way do they go? Both pointing forward? Pointing outward? Tanx! Am about to go to garage and install but thought I should find out 1st.

Went to another dealer and after having an ignition box($1000. quoted price!)used to find problem, service tech found a broken wire/connection. Another $600. donation and i was on my way!

'87, sat 4 a long time, 14k miles Had issue with fuel in carbs that a $600 injection into the dealers retirment fund did not cure! Flushed w/carb cleaner/blew everything out and then washed with engine cleaner Now no spark at plugs. Backtracked all steps cleaning and drying e/thing, still no joy! Juice at coils though. AND NOT RIDING ON HOLIDAY WEEKEND! HELP!
