    I noticed that my tour pack had some water in it from a rain storm the other night. I believe that the oring might be shot. Any one know where a guy can get a new one? 84 yamaha venture xvz1200

    Well, Crap, But thanks guys. Guess I need to clean the garage. I have owned 4 ventures in the last 4 or 5 years and this is by far the nicest looking one, but its the first one to have the trans prob. Wish i would have kept one of my old ventures for parts. Guess I will skip 2nd for now.

    Was curious if its possible to replace the trans gears without pulling the motor? I know you have to split the case but I do see the one side frame rail comes apart. I have limited room in my garage, so even if it takes longer thats fine, i have all winter.
