He'll I did 500 miles today in the sunshine at one point in traffic the thermometer on the wing showed 111 the bank sign showed 93. No rain here

Make sure you have good spark on the back plug wire I have changed a few bad coils on the right rear cyl for no spark problems

It sounds like the relay is full of water its behind the left front turn signal I have had to remove the cover and drain mine then tie it up to the fairing stay to keep it from getting water in it.

Well I went for a ride to the grocery store for Mini 10 miles one way and had to call her and have her bring me the spare rear wheel.
the tire is junk now the bolt hit the bead and tore it open
Unfortunatly the tire only had 6000 miles on it but a new one is on the way for free from the place I bought it from

Scott I would think the most likely problem would be a bad kickstand switch for no power to energise sol. No you dont need a heavy duty sol.
