  1. Thanks for the info guys I'll be sure to check that out once/if I get the bike lol. We'll see how things go later this week. Have an appointment on Thursday to take another look and ride with the different windshield. May push it back to Saturday so I have more time to play with the bike.
  2. They have a what Yamaha calls a med height screen that dealer is putting on and I am going to go back later this week to try it out. Also I saw a extension for motorcycle windshield that looked promisinghttps://www.amazon.com/MRA-X-Creen-Variable-Windscreen-Spoiler/dp/B0068NUI8C.
  3. Wow! Sounds like a awesome dealer to work with.
  4. Yes delicious tasty food.
  5. That sucks glad your are ok. Stupid forest rats need to learn to stay in the woods.
  6. Well no new Eluder today for me today. Not sure it's the bike for me. The wind protection just wasn't there. I'm use to the tall screen on my Tour Deluxe and I was getting some serious wind noise and then head shake over 60. Might go to a different dealer and check out another one with the taller screen on it. Anyone know of other screen options?
  7. Anyone else check out the current price of "new" 2018 Ventures and Eluders? Looking at a 2018 Eluder at a local Yamaha shop with for $12,999! I wasn't planning on buying a new bike until next summer but....... Going for a test drive in the morning. lol We'll see what they'll give me on trade for my 2006 Tour Deluxe.
  8. Do these pipes make my butt look big? https://photos.app.goo.gl/mWtuD1CxVzyjQ4q59
  9. Thanks for welcome back. Well I can see the appeal of quite but now I can hear the transmission wine again. Lol I had completely forgot how loud that was. Maybe time for a batwing fairing and radio.
  10. Good morning all, I just wanted to say hi. It's been a couple years since I was last around. Had some issues with my Tour Deluxe and didn't ride for a couple years but got the bike back up and running last year. Bike needed the carbs rebuilt after sitting for a year or two but now is running like a top! Put a new Barron's clutch in this spring and she's back to pulling off the line like new. Unfortunately sounds like new now as well since I put the stock exhaust back on. The aftermarket Road king slip ons rusted out so now I'm searching for a replacement for them. Any ideas for new exhaust that is louder than stock but not as loud as the basically straight pipes I had on it? Thanks and I look forward to hanging out here again, Vandy.
