And yes? You can unplug it inside the fairing.

Yes, it was for the optional cd changer. Somebody probably had the changer at one time. Though I think I heard that the cable came with some of the later models. Originally they came with the changer.

No, it shouldn't. The steering head bearings are adjusted by the two large locking nuts under that.

There was no royal star venture made with a 1600cc motor. Is it a water cooled 4 cylinder?
