Just read a story where the UK is planning to ban internal combustion engine motorcycles by 2035. WOW...that's not that far away my friends. Thank you Freebird, I just bought a 1993 Venture Royal, I replaced the burned up starter and fuel pump, to mention a few of the problems the old girl had. Currently the replacement starter I ordered off of ebay will not turn the engine over past the compression. Pull the plugs and it spins like it should, reinstall them and it's the same problem. I just went through every relay and safety switch no problem there. I even jumped the starter direct from the jump box and still the same problem. Just picking your brain, thank you for any input you might have.

I've ridden the second gen Venture many thousands of miles and to be honest, I've never carried a part of any kind. I've been lucky I guess and have never had a failure of any type. My bag consists of simple things like rain suits and etc.
