  1. Cool and thanks. I used to go there a few years back when I had a Suzuki dual purpose.
  2. I have a set of Avon Cobras on my bike and they are starting to get some small cracks in the side walls. After seeing this, I am going to get a set of tires ordered soon. What shop are you using down here on the Coast? I want a good balance so I don't have to tear this beast apart twice.
  3. If you don't mind me asking, where are you getting your Rotella at down here? I am over here in Diamondhead.
  4. These guys were at the ISA Southern Chapter trade show down here in Mobile a couple months back. They are a group of guys and had some crazy videos of their equipment in action.
  5. My Morgan Carbtune I ordered showed up this past week and I got the carbs synced this morning while the wife slept in. In the past I have had mercury filled sync tools, diy sync tool, and now the Morgan. I like the Morgan by far and it is definitely worth the money. I will offer up that if anyone is on the Gulf Coast near Mississippi and would like to stop by and use it, hit me up.
  6. I cut the heel part off my shifter tonight. I never have been able to comfortably use a heel shifter.
  7. I made a DIY carb synchronizer and tried to sync the bike and had nothing but issues due to the hardware store not having the correct size T fittings. Long story short I sync'ed by ear and feel and it seems a lot smoother. Now to get a good synchronizer. I also cut off the heel shifter. I have never been able to get used to using one.
  8. I replaced the rear cam cover gasket and bolt grommets, replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridiums, degreased everything, and detailed the bike. Now I have the issue to figure of what started out as a raging river of fuel pouring from the right front carb to what is now barely a drip of fuel. I sprayed some carb cleaner in it and now I am running some fuel system cleaner in the gas to see if it might be the float hanging up.
