1. "Absolutely...well said. That is why I for the most part discounted a lot of the YouTube Demo day YouTube bloggers, for that very reason. They were what...on the bike for 15-20 miles...and not mainly upon the interstate whereby this bike was bred and born to run?

Sure ,you're going to experience some heat...but from some of the comments, wow...you'd think it was going to have you suffocate, cook your calve or thigh, like Prime Rib, or bodily, keel over in the saddle. I watched with more attention to how the bike seemed to accelerate, and bank in turns. The sound...the instrumentation. Did I focus on the heat comments at a red light? Not one bit. That..quite frankly is to be expected on such a massive cubic inch asset....my take, anyways."

Wife & I are planning a week long trip through July 4th week. We’re going out through the Blue Ridge, The Skyway, Cherohala Hwy, Dragons Tail etc... working our way out to Mammoth Caves in Kentucky and then back again. I’ll have plenty of pics and lots to report on twisty handling and of course summer heat.

BTW, if you haven’t heard of it, I HIGHLY recommend going to a site motorcycleroads.com

! They can pull up the best bike roads in any area. You can search by state, by region OR you can filter search results based on Rider reviews that are divided into 3 categories rated from 1-5 stars. Categories are: Road Conditions, Scenery, Roadside Amenities. The rider reviews are invaluable and often give heads up on road conditions such as construction or closures when planning a ride.

  2. On my one ride so far, at 55 degrees and all vents and wings closed, the heat was wonderful. I’ll assess more on my leg of the out west journey to Phoenix in June. I’m coming from a 103 HD Ultra that literally roasted me in Road construction stops so I am not anticipating it being near as bad. What I wish they would have added in the info system is an oil pressure/temperature reading but I realize they probably didn’t because everyone would panic. The crappy analog gauge on the HD would go down to nothing and the valve train would get very loud once it heated up at a standstill. Never very comforting.

Just an FYI, like you said there is no oil temp or pressure gauges. There is however an oil pressure sensor built in that will alarm you on the dash with a WRITTEN information warning on your screen if there is an issue.

  3. I put 570 miles on an Eluder (single day) and about 680 on the venture (100 Saturday 2 up and Sunday solo trying for an iron butt 1000)

The highest temp I saw was 78 degrees f riding at 35 mph for about 8 minutes on the eluder. I rode to Death Valley round trip to test the eluder’ long day experience. At 78 degrees at 35mph for 8 minutes the heat on my left thigh caused my body temp to rise enough that my arm pits dripped sweat. I am 66 years old and had never experienced my arm pits dripping sweat drops until that moment.

Would I purchase the Venture in spite of the severe heat issue on the left side? YES!

But it would be something I would know from the start I will have to put up with. Like being careful not to hit bumps in high speed turns on my Gen2 RSV because it will start to wallow and scare the crap out of me.

I thank you for mentioning your age demographics because that IS a factor. No offense intended but the older you are, the more susceptible you are to heat & cold and the less your body is able to regulate on either end of the spectrum.

i did mention that I could feel heat in the left side but that it was not intolerable or uncomfortable. Just for the record, I’m 58 but do a LOT of outdoor field work and am accustomed to temperature extremes.

  4. Chief Gunner...what a most informative post this is...and very well thought out logistical flow. Most encouraging to a new owner, but with having to date put no miles upon the actual bike. Totally agree that this bike with such a large displacement is going to put out natural heat. But..without even riding the bike..my wife and I have faith...that Yamaha had so much (so many millions of R and D, into this bike..) that if they thought by track and camouflaged riding...if they thought for one second that to most median/metric riders, being air/oil cooled was going to be fatal to the bike..they never would have proceeded and brought the bike to market. They're not idiots!

So...your in-depth rider (over 5,000 miles ) experience, properly mimics what in theory, my wife and I thought would be ours. Great to read...and most encouraging! Thanks for posting. I intend to revisit this thread, and post my/our rider comments to what we found, in taking this beaut down the road. I especially reacted to your comment that this is not by design, meant to be an every day, purchased for this event...a stop and go, commuter ride. Absolutely...that was in our mind..that for the most part..you are always going to be moving, whether at 30 mph..or a 80 mph. Yep...your actual account, parallels our 'expected' usage profile. Great to read...!

Thanks Joe. It’s just an honest assessment based on 5k miles in various riding temps & situations.

I understand different riders may have the same or different comments to add. A “test ride” however IMHO is not sufficient enough to get hard data for an informed opinion. Just simply not enough time and miles to experience the myriad of driving conditions for an assessment.

  5. BTW Yooper...with your 150 miles sojourn in...what's your personal take on the rear cylinder exhaust temperature when riding? Yours, or your co-riders? Did it affect either of you, or your enjoyment factor?

Hey Guys, I've started a thread in TECH TALK about the heat issues so everyone can chime in on a specific thread regarding it.

  6. Good morning fellow adVENTURErers! We got into a discussion last night about heat issues with the 2018 SVTC as well as software version updates for the new SVTC.

I thought I'd bring this heat discussion here to bring others experiences into it, particularly from OWNERS who have done more than a "test ride" and have actually racked up some miles on it.

I can only post MY experiences with the 2018 SVTC since picking it up Dec 29th, but I've already racked up 5k miles on her and have had riding temps down to 40 in the evening and 81 during the daytime.

    Here we go!

I'll preface to say that my last touring bike was the 91 Venture Royale. We're all familiar with the 1300cc water cooled engine, and that is MY reference point on engine heat based on MY experience and 120k miles put on her (lived in Southern Calif). I was used to the cooling fan kicking on and you could feel the heat oftentimes being blown up through the steering column area and around the rider when sitting in traffic.

There are many concerned about air cooled on the SVTC, and given that its an 1854cc behemoth one can expect an increase in heat output. It doesn't matter water cooled or not, there WILL be an increase vs older models. Bigger displacement, more heat., its not rocket science folks.

The heat management of the SVTC by virtue of Yamaha's design is very efficient. When riding, the lower vents plus use of the fairing wings does an excellent job of keeping the area comfortable in hot temps. While riding in 81 degree temps lumbering along through twisty's at 30mph, I never had to do more than open the lower vents (located down by your feet). REMEMBER, this baby is a TRUE touring bike meant to gobble up the miles comfortably. Shes not designed to be a "daily commuter" bike riding in traffic every day. That's like using a Lamborghini to commute in. WRONG application! Will she do it? Of course, but its not its natural habitat!

I've been stuck in traffic for 1.5-2hrs with stop and go, and by "GO" I mean no faster than 10mph for a 100ft before having to stop again. Outside temps were 78 degrees at the time. I felt heat rising around me just like I did on the old XVZ13, but it was not stifling nor making me wish I could get away from it. The reports of excess heat under the left leg & thigh are IMHE a bit oversensitive. In stagnant air w/ NO BREEZE and no movement the left side was a bit warmer. Your oil tank is located left side of seat and behind the side cover. Ok, that makes sense why i might feel warmer there. I did notice though that slight natural breezes while sitting can change that. Again, NOTHING in my experiences thus far have detracted from the overall riding experience, or made me think I'd made a poor decision or curse Yamaha for being "stupid" for not going water cooled.

Like ALL bikes, its all about YOUR personal preference. That's why we're INDIVIDUALS and not clones! THANK GOD! I don't think I could deal with a bunch of others just like me!

As an electro-mechanical engineer with my own business, I can say I'm truly impressed by the engineering Yamaha has put into the SVTC. The bike is its OWN unique identity unlike anything else on the market. It turns heads, and every bike meeting and rally I've been to so far, people are clearly impressed.

For my part in this, there is NO heat issue which brings regret or makes the riding experience uncomfortable or regretful.

    Its a HUGE engine!

More heat? A bit, and logically expected.

An issue? Not in my experiences.

A deal breaker? Obviously not for me.

A cause for buyers remorse? NOT ON YOUR LIFE! This is THE dream bike for all you tech lovers out there.

You have to remember that when people go on a "test ride", 'they have ALL their senses "hyper tuned" to discern ANYTHING out of what THEY perceive as "ordinary" based on THEIR riding experiences. Kinda like people. If you meet someone critically LOOKING to find fault, you will.

  7. Right...those gloves were going to be used on my Kawasaki ZR7S, Chief..but for my gal...she could use them at her seating position on the SVTC.

BTW...can you please comment right now, if you have found during your 5,000 miles so far..if generated engine heat...has in any way affected your pleasure, or 'quality' of your riding experience, even at that day of 80F? Puc and I are in discussion that that can be a minus on the 'want this bike' ballot.

What has your personal experience been, so far?

Yamaha offers grip heaters for the passenger as well.

I'm going to start a new thread under TECH TALK addressing the heat issue so that we can have hopefully other SVTC owners chime in about it.

  8. Right...those gloves were going to be used on my Kawasaki ZR7S, Chief..but for my gal...she could use them at her seating position on the SVTC.

I’m gonna start a new thread where we can isolate just that issue and hear from other SVTC riders as well.

  9. I'm going to call the dealership tomorrow..and ask them once more...about the feature set as standard....will post the results of that conversation. We were talking about the Ultra...that was clear...and he said that the Boombox 6.5 has the built in capabilities..but only if you add the modules...

I call for clarification from another person at the dealership. :)

Heres an article that might help!

    http://ridermagazine.com/2018/04/06/2018-harley-road-glide-ultra-vs-indian-roadmaster-vs-yamaha-star-venture-tc-comparo-review/

In a straight up comparison, the SVTC takes the Gold!

  10. LOL...and you are right on the marketing of clothing. Do you know how hard a time I am having to find a great $400-$650 Yamaha branded Touring Jacket with Kevlar Armor on at the shoulders, elbows...lower back, over kidneys? Even my own Yama Mama dealer, can't find decent quality Tour Jackets with Yamaha Logo's... The Yamaha website has mesh jackets, that are deadly over-priced and sky high, marked up. Nada..

I have two really expensive and good Honda branded Full Tour jackets with all the above described Kevlar Armor. What I am attempting to do...or will have made for me, at a tailor shop...is to get really nice cloth Yamaha Patches. I'll have both my, and my wife's Honda patchwork, over-sown with the Yama Mama...for the jackets are two tone, racing Honda red, and white. They'll look great with the red SVTC. but will look dorky...if we are riding and proudly riding our Yamaha..but are wearing Honda patches..HEY.......unless Honda wants to pay me billboard space upon my chest...Hmmm....should pitch that to them...lol!

Post Edit: Seriously...I might be wearing this Fall...and for my wife as well...Harley Davidson (the orange shield) HEATED GLOVES. Man...are these cool...and truly are quality built leather. The cat's *ss with these, is that they are connected to your bike, by means of the same (now..HD...you rock on this!) pig tail that you have standard on Battery Tender products. So..being that the pig tail from your battery is already on your bike...all my bikes run with pig-tailed battery tender leads...you plug the HD leads to the Battery Tender male...and the gloves have a press/repeat square in cloth switch...for you to pick low, medium, and high heat settings. With these gloves, you don't actually need heated grips...and we all know that heated grips only heat mostly your palms...while these gloves would equally heat your critical fingers...and finger tips. You know what? SOLD...I'm going to go back and pick up two pairs, one for myself, and a pair for her, for Christmas...well...Christmas in October...lol.

If I remember, the gloves were around $140.00, BUT...they were excellent manufacture and quality. The HD name and logo is so small, that unless you pointed it out...nobody would see you running around with them on a Yamaha, or Honda...lol. I'm not thinking of getting them for myself to wear on the SVTC...but on the non-heated grips on my Kawasaki ZR7S. She would get the gloves instead of my getting those heated hand grips on the SVTC. The gloves...300 times better... Merry early Christmas, Dear.... Ho, ho...and ho!

You won’t need heated gloves Joe. I’ve ridden down to 40 degrease so far and had the heater for seat and grips set on 7. They were literally burning my hands through the gloves and I had serious RUMP ROAST cooking as well. The heat function on the SVTC is intense!

  11. Ten Four, on the 'losing it, here' Back up camera's...wow..next year, the 2019 SVTC will have a mini microwave, and bar fridge on the left side of the tour trunk...mark my words, LOL. You know, Puc...thanks for your comments about the drive belt. I think that I'm just going to buy a brand new one...have it in the bike...for whatever...and then, when I need to swap out the OEM...will use that new one, in the bike...and then put the OEM.. as my touring back up. That was suggested on another forum...don't throw it out, if it is not broken, but merely worn.

I read ya...automatic transmissions, back-up cameras...are we talking about a motorcycle, or an SUV?!? The lines are getting blurred...despite only 2 wheels on the ride....if those who rode Harleys and Indians in the 1940's could see this...I would love to see the look on their faces, visiting their modern HD or Indian dealer...:) On off-roads, the next new thing, will be a bike equipped with an electric wench....if you screw up, and put it into a ravine...no worries...pull out the lines...hook it around a tree...and pressing a button...wench yourself out.. That's probably next, for enduros...

First off, if you need to get OUT of trouble you’re gonna need a WINCH! If you want to get INTO trouble then by all means get a WENCH! :big-grin-emoticon: Your KILLIN me dude! ROFLMBO!

  12. Since they pulled the 12.0.6 version off of the web update site, just wondering what your version number was, upon delivery?

Thanks...and I'll report what mine is, ASAP. Being that it was the one of the last of the four off of the assembly line in Japan for the RED color, according to Yama Mama Canada.

I’d have to go check. I took delivery Dec 29th and by early Jan they already had an update. I updated at the dealership when I went back for my first oil change 8 days after I got it. Just make sure (and they should anyways) that the dealer has updated software BEFORE delivering it to you.

  13. I am glad that everybody is getting their new bikes. However, I bet Harley didn't even notice the 150 SVTC's that sold into Canada and the 250 or so SVTC that swarmed the States...

Excuse me! Your numbers are WAY off. I put my SVTC order in July 26th 2017 on Priority Delivery Program.

I was the first one in the SouthEast Region to receive my bike and MY serial # is 694!

Dont know where you get your numbers but my VIN# can prove that it’s complete hokum!

  14. Thanks for the warning Puc, I remembered it from a previous post to cradle the tank w blankets. I’d be honored to join you downstate. Time is tight however, taking off June 6th to Redrocks, SWUtah, Phoenix, Reno then pacific coast highway up to Baniff, Glacier, Beartooth, Rushmore, Badlands and home sometime in July. Gonna break her in right!

DANG Yooper! I wanna hang with you dude!! What a ride!

How Long do you anticipate this taking? Hotels, camping or combination thereof? Do you already have your trailer?

  15.

Gunner, I have an electronic isolation package coming along with a 5-4 converter for the wiring. Picking up my service manual on Monday. Was hoping the manual was clear concerning the rear camera. I’m with you, I’d like to be able to switch the rear camera on just for a look see at the trailer. Did you have any luck wiring the upper trunk light to have brake function?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Upper trunk already HAS brake light function. When brakes applied upper and lower lights BOTH come on. If they don’t, you have an issue. The saddlebag lights are what I’m after. They currently function ONLY as running and turn signal. I want them ALSO to work as brake lights so that the whole back end lights up at a stop. I’ve already helped my visibility by adding the led package which ALSO has a brake tie in. No matter what color I’m running, they ALL go red when I hit my brakes! Kinda hard to miss that at night!

P.S. From what I can discern in the Manual, the connection for the camera is up near the head unit located under the front portion of the gas tank. This does not make sense to me since the alarm system, keyfob system and other stuff is located behind the D/S saddlebag. WHY would not put the connection there NEAR where the camera would install instead of all the way up forward. Hence my confirmation call to Yamaha. I want to know where and what BEFORE I tear stuff apart so I have proper parts IN HAND FIRST!

  16. Chief...please tell me again why you want a back up camera on your bike? You can't just look into either your left or right rear-view mirror, for anything obstructive? I've never heard of such a thing :)

I have a question...in all those 5,000 miles (which is amazing for how long you have had it..) have you ever heard a stone flip up..and get caught into the belt drive train? That's the one thing only that I have heard, one must be careful (no back country roads, if you can help it...) of, with belt drive.

My house is 2acres back on a gravel driveway. Just go slow and easy & no problem.

In answer to “why the backup camera” number 1 is because ITS COOL AS CRAP! Number 2 is because you can see much better directly how your rig is towing than you can in side view. Number 3 is that it’s really easy to get the license # of the jerk tailgating you! Number 4 (and you’ll understand this shortly with your own bike) the SVTC is a BIG girl. It’s sometimes difficult to see the back of her butt when moving backwards in a tight situation. The camera I’m getting has night IR and parking guide lines. I can see it clearly even in the dark.

    Hope that helps!

  17. 105 miles in today on a 55 degree day. Initial thoughts compared to the 2012 HD Ultra 103 that I had previously:

Handles way, way, way more responsive, much better balance, much better slow speed maneuvering. Sure park makes parking on an incline with sand on the road a breeze

I’m 5’10” with a 31 inch inseam, I don’t think I’ll need Highway pegs, had enough room on the boards to stretch out.

Seat was initially uncomfortable around 30 miles, got off to gas up and the remaining 75 were comfy. I think with my AirHawk the seat will be fine.

Loved the low seat height and the low COG. Every stop I caught myself smiling.

With the lower wings installed, this is the warmest, most comfortable bike I’ve ever ridden. I’m actually looking forward to trying out in a rainstorm.

    Sound system is awesome

I’ll need to lower the bars a little, at least on this bike I can.

Only irritation was not having gear indication at a stop.

Adding a pic of the Showchrome trailer hitch installation, which fit well after spreading the top frame mount arms a tad.

Can’t wait to get beyond break in, 2400RPM is boring.http://www.venturerider.org/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=112365

You still have a ways to go. Can’t go above 3500 rpm till after 1k miles. I was curious at the 1,200 mike mark about the torque. I was rolling along slow in 1st in TOURING mode and romped on it and it to me was plain frightening. I haven’t had the courage to try it in SPORT mode!

Glad to see you got the trailer hitch. Pretty easy install and not expensive, $189. Have you already installed the wiring harness?

Just an FYI: the infotainment system has a backup camera interface function built in. I’m in communication with Yamaha to confirm connection location and type of connector utilized. The Service Manual isn’t definitive. Will let you know when I find out. The backup camera can be engaged when NOT in reverse, ie..Your towing and wanna check on your rig without having to turn around or pull over. Just flip the rear camera function on and viola! I LOVE the technology on this bike!!

  18. Yep...you were right on all accounts. I needed to blow some hot air...into the right Head Office, ears...

The ear-to-ear, is already on my face as I type this message, Chief....oh..and shoulders now down below my butt...before, they were hanging off of the den ceiling...;)

I just need some 80F days, as you already have...so, send some of that stuff, North....

Wish I could. I was planning a ride from here near Charlotte up to see a longtime friend in Lititz, PA, but the weather went downhill. It’s only an 8hr ride but he hasn’t seen “BigRed”. Weather turned bad 100% rain Friday & 70% Saturday so that trip isn’t happening. We’re forecast to have temps all next week in the upper 70’s with a couple 81’s.

I’ve only had her since Dec 29th and already got 5k miles! It’s so easy to hop in the saddle and just gobble up road!!

P.S. Should hear back from Yamaha tomorrow. Have been talking to them about the backup camera hookup location and type of connector needed. Will keep everyone informed.

  19. Well...since I know that as of today, I'll be riding my 2018 SVTC home later next week, I decided on my way to the lake...to visit a HD dealer.

I wasn't through the door, 30 seconds, before at least three sales 'specialists' zeroed in on my scent, via three different showroom vectors, lol. Wow...could they smell the fresh blood?!??

The youngest of the trio, got to me first...and after introducing himself ( a very nice guy, quite amicable) he inquired if I had any particular model in mind. I said why yes...the 2018 Road Glide Ultra, with the Shark's Head, frame mounted fairing.

He took me over to a two-tone (very nice looking!) and started explaining the standard features.

This is where the Harley Davidson Education began...

    The features...standard...hardly any....

"So," I asked,; "There is no Sirius radio as standard?" "No...you'd have to buy the module, and it can added by our installation."

"Oh..." "What about a C.B. radio?" "That can be added to...for around $800.00 plus labor."

"Oh..." "How much was that Sirius Radio upgrade..er..module?" "That would be, er...let me see on the list...er...that would be also $800.00 plus shop labor."

"Oh..." "What does your shop run at?" "It's $100.00 per hour, taken to the nearest 1/4 hour."

"Oh..." "So what would each module take?" "About one hour per module, with testing. Might be a little more for the C.B. as the tech has to remove the seat and top trunk, to route the C.B. antenna coax."

"Oh..." So, then...oh wait...what about heated grips and the heated seat for the rider and co-rider?" "That would be ...er...ah...$1,100.00 plus labor to re and re, and the wiring kit."

"Oh... So that then would be er...let me do my math...that would be ah..."

    1. C.B radio and one hour shop time: $900.00 CDN

2 Sirius Sat Radio Module and one hour shop time: $900.00

    3. Heated Grips and Heated Seat combo: $1,100 plus 1 1/4 hour shop time: $1,225.00

"So then, that would be, er... $3,418.85, all in?" "Right...around there...a few bucks more, possibly less."

"Oh.." Now...how flexible are you in that MSRP on the bike? It's $32,099.00, right?" "Yes..for the model with the one tone, Electric Blue." "So...in my due diligence, I have also been assessing metric manufacturers, and most of them are flexible on the MSRP to at least shaving a $1,000.00 of of the price."

"Well, I wish that I could do that, sir..but that is not allowed by not only Harley Davidson Sales...but is also frowned upon by the Harley Davidson Dealer's Association. We all try to keep a base line, and not have each dealer scavenging another. It's just what our culture does. What I can do, though, is get you a HD gift card, for such things as perhaps a jacket, or T-shirts, gloves...such as that. That's what we can do, Joe..and we'll make you happy!"

    "Oh..."

So, then...with the full up MSRP of the solid tone, Electric Blue, at $32,099.00 and all of what I'd would want and need on my HD...that would be..er..(rubbing chin...) er... $39,690.72 CDN, right? All in...full HST of 13 % applied? "Yes..except for your registration and plate cost. That was not factored in."

"Oh..." "Well ok...thank you very much...I'm still kicking tires, you know...and am looking not only at you guys, but Yamaha and Kawasaki too." "Sure bud...I'm sure that you will find, we have the largest dealer network in North America...and the largest after-market parts supply, whereby you can make your HD, totally 'your own'."

    "Oh..."

"Well..I had better run...I have a date with Lake Simcoe later on today...first major run of the year you know..." "Sure thing bud...and I hope I see you come back soon, so we can put you, on the King of Bikes!" "Thanks...remember...still merely thinking about it...you know...kicking tires." "Sure..no problem, you have a nice day." "Thanks, you as well" "Oh...hey...what does a normal oil change cost in parts and labor. Just wondering..." We spec an oil change, and common service done at that time...every 8,000 kilometers, and that will run you around $400.00"

"Oh..." "Ok...thanks for your time." "You bet...see ya...take care, hope to see you back, soon!"

    "See ya..."

I got a SERIOUS Harley Davidson Education this afternoon. Folks....not only would it cost you just under $10,000.00 Canadian dollars more to bring an HD 2018 Road Glide Ultra, up to the standard features found on the Yamaha Star Venture Trans Continental, but ...there would still be features on the SVTC, that isn't even offered, or the HD having the on-board technology to even place it onto your bike...like electric windscreen elevation, or the move forward/move backward, parking assist, for awkward topography, or dual-zone audio sourcing. Nope...a Yamaha SVTC blows any HD, in any configuration out of the ocean, for band-for-the-buck, and feature set amenities.

Compared to a Grand Tour model Harley Davidson...is the Yamaha Star Venture one H*LL of a deal?----You had better believe it...and only spending one hour with a HD sales floor Rep...will clearly demonstrate that!

My Harley Davidson Buyer's Education Course has been completed. Nice looking bike...but, I'll pass. Oh wait...I did, already...

    Joe

Do you remember my earlier post reply to you that I stated that same exact thing? I told you that you’d be looking at $40k for a comparably equipped HD and only IF they had some of the amenities available which they do not.

    Glad you’re a “fast learner”!

  20. Can't speak for the States..but in Canada, it is a full 5 years...covered. Also, different, is that in Canada, the SVTC comes with a 3 month Sirius subscription. The States does not, according to ChiefGunner.

You are correct Sir. The SVTC comes with the 5 yr warranty but there is no paid introductory subscription to Sirius.

I’m GLAD you took my advice Joe & talked to Yamaha DIRECTLY. I told you your dealership was both deceptive and incompetent. I also said that you were making a lot of “noise” but just not to the right people. I also told you Yamaha was concerned about people’s orders on the SV getting fulfilled.

Your latest post after following my advice has proven me correct in ALL POINTS.

NOW, just watch and see if they don’t give you $1k towards any Yamaha extras for the bike because of all your troubles. Just remember “I told you so!”

Looking forward to seeing that ear to ear grin of yours on your new baby!
