  1. I'm guessing some a Star bagger/ street-glide competitor.
  2. Cycle gear just sent me a sale flyer. Prolly doing the front on mine while they are cheaper. http://www.cyclegear.com
  3. I don't have Ivan's jet kit on my RSV. However I've purchased his kit's for a ZRX and FZ1 before. If Ivan sells it, it is top shelf. He doesn't do things halfway & service is second to none. http://www.ivansperformanceproducts.com/
  4. Hey all! Just dropped the rear tire out of my '05 for an new Elite 3 fitment. This is the first time I've changed a tire on the RSV. I noticed that the washer on the brake caliper assembly was on the wheel side and not the swingarm side as pictured here- http://www.venturers.org/Tech_Library/?action=article&cat_id=002014&id=323 I'm thinking I need to reassemble as in the picture, I've checked a couple other threads and swingarm side seems to be the standard mounting. Is this a correct finding? Thanks!
  5. Sure! Here's the link-http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?79150-My-starter-relay-kicked-the-bucket&highlight=Starter%20relay I haven't done anything yet but my fuse connection is obviously beyond cleaning & greasing. It flaked out on me again yesterday. Either going to do this with a 24" lead and coil the excess or buy a new assembly and replace it regularly. I don't have a garage and I bought this bike as a daily driver.
  6. Bike left me stranded the other day. Wiggled the main fuse and got her going, however with the wet weather here in Florida I'm sure it won't be long before the fuse box to the starter relay goes. I'm wondering about part #'s & wire length needs.
  7. I Lived in a Deer rich area for years. I hit one on My Vulcan Mean streak, before I adopted the same policy as you. Sounds like your Bike handling skills were awesome! Hindsight without bandages is a good thing.
  8. I have 2 stock shields, your more than welcome to try one. I think you'll eventually want something with venting if ya go to that height year round. I'm in the Mandarin section of Jax. PM me, we could meet up in the next couple days.
  9. Hey all 1st post. I'm really enjoying the wealth of advice and comradery in this group. I'm Looking to have a front end/ fork oil service and a carb sync on my RSV in the Jacksonville Fl. area, any recommendations?
  10. Just Checked their website, The Works MSRP is $919. http://www.worksperformance.com/pdf/app_guide/street.pdf
  11. The dealer I bought my "05 from, put a Hagon on mine as part of the purchase. It's a night and day difference. Very nice unit.
