I want the bike so bad I can taste it, but I've ridden 2 of them (the 2nd one belonged to a friend of mine). His didn't whine nearly as bad as the one I was thinking of buying and it had Bub pipes on it. I think what I'll do is keep looking until I find one that isn't as bad. My wife went on the test ride with me, and she said it sounded like the Jetson's sky car. I guess I could just pretend I'm flying to Spacely Sprockets. My wife Karen went with me and after about 3 miles into the test ride it hit me... no whine!!! I bought it on the spot. I was fueling up beside a Gold Wing the other day, and he finished first and pulled out. I could hear his bike whine all the way up the interstate on ramp.
