Raised rear floorboards

My six year old son is wanting to ride with me on the 2000 RSV and his legs are not long enough for his feet to reach the floorboards yet. Does anyone know of a bracket to make the floorboards raise up to the saddlebag lids?

Since he's eventually going to stretch out you may want to consider something tempory...like a 2x4 held on with c-clamps???

Kuryakyn makes the transformers a bit expensive maybe. They are adjustable not sure if they'll fit on the 2nd gens. I know they make them for the gold wing. Guess it's worth checking out. Here's the link to their site. I'm sure you can find them elsewhere, possibly cheaper too.

I had the same problem but was unable to find anything that worked very well. I have been using this belt when she rides with me for years (even before I had the Venture). This seemed to make it better that she couldn't reach the floorboards flat footed. She even falls asleep without a problem. She is big enough now to ride without it but she'd rather not.
