Transmission issue, I think

2007 Midnight Venture.

After an extensive search on the forum, I did not find any posts about a transmission doing nothing when shifted into gear.  

When I shift mine into all of the gears I get no reaction.  Has anyone ever heard of this before?

Check clutch, driveshaft, final drive.

Will the bike roll in gear with engine off and clutch engaged?

My vote would be drive shaft. If the front end is the shaft snaps, no drive. Or the rear as well.

The clutch not re-engaging s interesting as well. 

But to be honest, haven't heard much about either issue in years.
