Guest Rafka Posted May 24, 2008 Share #1 Posted May 24, 2008 Guys, I have feedback in my speakers when my horn is activated. I found that if I turn my squelch up it goes away. Is this normal on a 02 Venture?? Any thoughts!!

Abby Posted May 24, 2008 Share #3 Posted May 24, 2008 Mine does the same. This only happens when the CB is turned on. If i'm not mistaken I think this occurs with most RSV's. Abby
Jercoupe Posted May 24, 2008 Share #4 Posted May 24, 2008 Guys, I have feedback in my speakers when my horn is activated. I found that if I turn my squelch up it goes away. Is this normal on a 02 Venture?? Any thoughts!! Developed this problem when I installed my air horn. The forum here said it was probably a ground problem. I think it was because I disconected all of the conections in under the front faring and make sure it was tight. Noise went away for a while but did come back. I just didnt take the time to look for it again. Wondering if my new bike will do the same. Just finished the air horn today
V7Goose Posted May 25, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 25, 2008 This is pretty much standard on all RSVs - normal, a bit irritating, but nothing to worry about. Ride Safe, Goose
flb_78 Posted May 25, 2008 Share #6 Posted May 25, 2008 How often do you use the horn with the CB on to validate the need to find a repair for it?
