Pull apart all your plugs to the ignition system and clean all the contacts. I had the same situatuation and picked up a programable ignition unit. As I Started swapping them out I noticed the green tarnish on all my pins. I cleaned all with contact cleaner and tiny brass brushes and put it back together. The bike never ran so good. The new part never got installed and that was 4 years ago and its still running strong. I keep the new unit handy just in case but so far all has been running fantastically.
