Patmac6075 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 I went out to the shed to take my bike out for a ride...dropped the bike off the center stand, and find my rear tire is flat. Long story short, I come to find that the valve core stem is leaking (soapy water). My question is, once I pulled the core it looked like C1-LRY (on the chart below). Can I replace it with a standard one like C1-SR? i travel to all the auto part stores in my area, and nobody has one!
djh3 Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 Hmm Far as I have experienced there is like a long and a short. Pretty sure the shorts will work in either, but longs only fit in longs. Just run by the local tire store or dealership. If they aint got a passel full you can have for nothing I'd be surprised. We always had a bunch by the tire machine.
cowpuc Posted June 19, 2018 Posted June 19, 2018 This may or may not help Pat but until the real guru's show up it may at least show what a new stem looks like
