At Freeport you really should take a left instead of that right and run along the beach then up to Milton.

I entend to make 400 miles a day. from Vero Beach, to Marianna Florida, or further. 2nd night between Lafayette & Lake Charles.:7_6_3[1]:

I'm in Gulf Breeze not Milton. Just thinking Hwy 98 is much better than 90 in my opinion.

I'll start the day from Vero Beach, other then 30 miles of turnpike and a 2.25 cent toll, because of the trailer, I'll be riding up old 27 into Perry, Fl, then 98, northwest, and follow the panhandle, without getting on I-10. 1 st day is like 535 miles. I googled that road along the ocean, that looks nice, I'll take it.
