They are the floats inside the resivoirs.

It's inside the master cylinder reservoir! It's a coil core with a plastic float that has a magnet on it surrounding the coil...

im trying to elimite the warning on cms both have been change to after market type resivors. i see in wiring diagram a sensor that needs to be jumpered to eliminate warning on cms

Yup! There was/is a 4 pin connector that the brake light switch plugs into that also connects the sensor if memory serves me right, but then again I've forgotten a lot of stuff lately...

is there a way to bypass the sensors so the CMS does not see that the sensors are not there? for the brake lights?

like the sensor mod for the battery which i have done successfully?

also trying to find and maybe mod the oil level sensor?

any help people?

also found wires disconnected from CMS i believe????

yel/red to yel/green.......green/green/red

is this an attempt to remove reserve lighting unit?

my headlights and hi/lo switch and indicator do work

Simple... on the back of the cmu simply ground out the W/B (White/Black) wire. The screen shot below is from the 83 Simplified Diagram.

Dag nabbit that Yamigrl sure knows how to make complicated matters livable and understandable - even for lop eared varmints like me .. My final answer would have been a hunk of electrical tape stretched over that flashing red light cause I have fired a few shots at that sneaky bugger too
