Krylon Colors for Trailer

Iowa Guy

Recommended Posts

I've got the 89 blue two tone RSV and I want to paint the Sears x-cargo box to match or close. Anyone have luck matching the Krylon colors to that year of bike?

The colors offered on their website look as if the two most similiar might be:

Blue Hyacinth 2333 (darker blue)

Satin Twilight 2440 (lighter blue)

I'm also looking for the pinstriping between the two colors.

Dont know about that particular color, but I color matched my Ultra's paint with a Krylon shade of deep red metalflake, and it was damn close. You can't tell the difference when looking at the trailer hitched to the bike.

Several coats and wetsanding each one, some rubbing compound, then a couple of coats of clear, and it looks pretty good.

Color-rite has an EXACT match for your bike colors/

I have the 2K MM and the paints they sent me are perfect

I did two small bottles of each color for touch-up

and now I have ordered an aerosol spray in one of the

colors for my new grill on it's way. BUT the cost

of the small bottles are about 20 bucks and the aerosol

can of paint is $33.00

I have tried the krylon and it works pretty well , but make

sure you sand real well with fine scotch bright! that is a must!

good Luck

Jeff
