There was a blood oath that a Fitsgerald or a Butler (aka Fitzwalter) had to kill the other on sight. Fitzwalter was the family and Butler was the office which ruled. The family ruled for many years (after many bloody battles) and took the name of the office, "May you be an hour in heaven before the devil finds you are dead." Missed getting to do it this year was working on Landscaping.
