Phoneman1981 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Hello Everyone: I met a nice older couple yesterday when I stopped at their retirement apartment. We got on the subject of motorcycles after looking at pictures on their wall. The husband told me that in 1947 he bought a 1937 Indian Chief in Omaha for $400. He rode it back home 400 miles to the Western end of our state. Eventually sold it a few years later for $300. Fond memories of younger days. Made me smile.
