Pulled the mufflers out of the scrap pile, and there ya go. right one is just for ascetics,... http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s564/Darrin-GT/1997%20Yamaha%20Royal%20Star%20Makeover/20140109_090106_zpsabca7100.jpg http://i1306.photobucket.com/albums/s564/Darrin-GT/1997%20Yamaha%20Royal%20Star%20Makeover/20140109_090119_zps5d98048b.jpg
Eck Posted January 9, 2014 Share #2 Posted January 9, 2014 Now that is neat..! Just hope someone doesn't get burned off them and sue your company........... (Suggest you might want to consider adding a muffler guard)

DarrinGT Posted January 9, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted January 9, 2014 Thanks,,.. The only thing it gets used for is to load and unload a motor or trans couple times a month, and Myself and Bob our mechanic are the only ones that will drive it. go grab a motor off a truck, set it down and park it again. It hardly has a chance to get hot. Funny story about acquiring that unit, About 8 years ago when we moved into this shop, we decided it would be handy to have a Forklift. I kept an eye out on Craigslist, and this one popped up. We talked about, and the problem was how to get it back to the shop,..Well I called on it, and it was 1/4 mile up the road from us!, Went and laid out $700.00 for it, and drove it back to the shop! Handy little tool to have!
CaptainJoe Posted January 9, 2014 Share #6 Posted January 9, 2014 What to do with your old stock Mufflers? I'd love to have a couple laying around for when my Harley friends show up... With my sawsall and mig welder I might just pull off a "good for me" mod.... I refuse to ride behind these loud beasts...LOL
