Just started my lowering of my 05 RSTD yesterday..Lowered the back 1.5" but its raining today to remove the front forks to install the Baron's Kit.

Had new rubber installed as well hopefully the Kenda Kruz tires will be better than the other set I had on they were Bridgestones...very noisy in curves.

Have some pictures to post on the build.

After the lowering will also install Flanders handlebars and Kuryakyn Grips with weight ends.

Well looks like you are doing a complete removal of everything. Wow, kinda surprised unless you are also doing other things as well. I am thinking about the barons lowering idea also. Hope it all works out for you. A lot if good information here to help you on the way. I like the Avon Venom tires myself. Good tire life and very good handling in dry and wet conditions. Would be a good time to have graphics added to your fenders if you are doing that. I would like to have some added to mine one of these winters. I have a 2007 RSTD. I like the pictures. Keep us informed of your progress and things to watch for on a lowering rear project. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=69147

I did the Flanders bars and stainless cables from, well shucks, can not remember right now. They are located in Cincinnati Ohio. Very good people to deal with. I really like the extra pull back they gave me. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=67699

Thanks, Fuzzy.
