Little Bob Posted January 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2008 Hello Everyone, Thinking about buying a piggy back trailor. But have some questions. Here goes, does anyone have one? And how do you like it. also looked at the XL with the 12 inch chrome tires. The little trailor has a tongue length of only 33 inches and the xl is 45 inches. Which one would tow better? Theres a 200 hundered dollars difference in price. Any help would be great! :confused24::confused24:
Midnight Rider Posted January 28, 2008 Share #2 Posted January 28, 2008 There are several on here that own them. I have heard nothing but good about them from the ones that do own them. Dale
kbran Posted January 28, 2008 Share #3 Posted January 28, 2008 I have the XL and like it. Don't even know it's back there. I think either one tows very nice behind the bike, several on here have them. They are not $3000 trailers so the box is made of plastic and a little flimzy but it does a good job for the money. Roadhand Posted January 28, 2008 Share #4 Posted January 28, 2008 Kbran, do you have a link to help me find one?

Midnight Rider Posted January 28, 2008 Share #6 Posted January 28, 2008 Chaos did some simple mods to his trailer that were very user friendly. He put carpet on the bottom and D-rings fasten to the bottom to strap his cargo down. Look really good. By the way has anyone heard from Mark lately? BradT Posted January 28, 2008 Share #7 Posted January 28, 2008 By the way has anyone heard from Mark lately? Dale I too have the XL and as Kbran said you do not know it is there. Worth the money. Not lately as he gets real busy this time of the year. Maybe when the first semester is over he will get a little time. BRad

sarges46 Posted January 28, 2008 Share #9 Posted January 28, 2008 I too have the piggy. Mine is the xl. The thing is a good item, the company support is really good. To me the extra 200 is worth it for the xl. We sure packed alot of stuff in that thing for our trip to Colorado. Tent, bags, clothing, chairs, stove, dining shelter, extra jackets, air mattress, bedding. Pulled great.
flb_78 Posted January 28, 2008 Share #10 Posted January 28, 2008 I would of bought one of these if I had known about them before I built my Harbor Freight trailer. The PiggyBack is twice the trailer over the Harbor Freight one.

flb_78 Posted January 28, 2008 Share #12 Posted January 28, 2008 Also, when you buy something after getting info off the forum, you then forfeit ownership of said item anytime another member needs to use said item. It's state law, look it up.
