Also if anyone would rather have a brown backrest instead of a gray or black, in similar nice conditon and interested in a trade of some sort. The rest of the backrest is in excellect conditon. JohnMidnight Posted June 2, 2012 Share #2 Posted June 2, 2012 The material on my VR and most of the VR's I've had the pleasure of seeing, is that they're vinyl, so any care and maintenance lubricants for vinyl should work. I use armourall on my seat, and backing. Works well, granted it does not stop my arse from ripping the vinyl from the thread Though after LOOKING at the picture, I'd recommend applying a protective coat too, to make sure water doesn't get in by chance. Some brands work better than others. So get something you are comfortable with.
