Gary N. Posted May 27, 2012 Share #1 Posted May 27, 2012 Kent, thanks for the excellent info on alternative replacement parts. I had to replace my fuel pump this week and was able to pickup a Faucet pump at my local Car Quest.

Gary N. Posted May 27, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted May 27, 2012 Hey Gary.......whats the info on the fuel pump. We have a Car Quest here so I'm thing of picking one up to have on hand. Thanks Keith Part number 41501, $66.06. It's the only one they stocked at the local store and the max psi was 4 lbs. Kind of a job to install because I removed the bracket that the original one was attached to so I could drill a couple of holes in it for the new one. Other then that, it fits great and works very well. I bought two 90 degree fittings and one barbed, hose fitting to get everything aimed the right way. It comes with a nice small fuel filter but I didn't use it because it would have meant removing the pump to change it. I put an automotive filter under the seat where it's easy to get too.
