Capt-D Posted October 6, 2011 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2011 Put a set of E3's on 4,000 miles ago and love them, lot better then the 404's I had, and they seem to be wearing really good.
Guest Slab_Ryder Posted October 6, 2011 Share #3 Posted October 6, 2011 On the average, I get 20,000 miles or 30,000 kms per E'3.
dynodon Posted October 6, 2011 Share #4 Posted October 6, 2011 Put bias ply E3's on my '86 royale and they are great. Wearing even, no cupping or feathering in several thousand miles. Put new radial E3's on my 04 Wing and they started feathering and cupping almost immediately (I check air in my tires quite frequently). Not sure if it is the bike or the switch from bias to radial that made the difference, but almost everyone has problems with low miles and bad cupping/feathering on the Wing. The price you pay for all that torque I guess. The Wing isn't THAT much heavier than the Royale.
