We love the camping thing as we can hang out, visit, enjoy an adult beverage and not worry about having to drive "home". Tent is the way to go. I use a air mat now. We just got back from PIP and we are using the ultra thin air mats. When the rooster woke me up I was laying there thinking that the thin mat was very comfortable until I realized that I had rolled off and was on the tent floor.
