slip on exhaust

Has anyone tried L.A. Chopper oval slip ons? I see they make them for the Venture and they look nice but I haven't seen any comments about them. Wonder what they sound like. They claim a deep rumble which is what I want.

I have a set on my RSV. They are not a deep rumble. Maybe when new, but after 10K miles, they have a higher tone, and I am looking for replacements. I may try to repack them first, but too loud/crisp for my liking. They sound good at idle, but cruising speed they get to me, and my hearing is not too good. Do a search on youtube. I believe I saw a vid of someone with them on.

are they loud and annoying? Are you thinking about selling them? If so PM me I might be intersted. the wife would like a pair of loud pipes on the bike.

They are just not toned low enough for me. Kinda hard to explain. The pitch is higher at speed than I like. It's like a straight piped V8 with 1 1/2" pipes. Sounds good at idle, but when you get on it, it is a pitch that makes me ease up on the throttle. I am going to repack them first and see how they do.
