CB mic?

Has anyone ever tried installing a CB mic. If so did you have any problems?

There is an extra wire needed for the mic to work on a RSV. Years back a fellow made up mics to work on our bikes but they are no longer out there. If there are any members out there up to handling the challenge of making one, I have the original mic and patch cord. My cb quit working last year and I don't use it anymore. I want to keep this mic in case I buy a used Venture in the future.

I have a J&M Mic and it comes with the extra wire you have to splice into the PTT switch on the bike.

I have the Buddy Rich patch cable and the J&M head set. it works just fine with the CB. Buddy is a member here who makes the patch cable. It plugs right in to the audio system wires in the faring.

Looks like my offer is not needed. I did not know Buddy Rich made them. I will hang onto mine.
